Vandal Shield is a vandal window grill that is a low-cost alternative to Intruder Shield where the protection of glazing against vandalism is a higher priority than security from forced entry.

From a distance Vandal Shield merely gives the impression that the windows are fitted with tinted glass but in fact this vandal window grill is an effective visible deterrent to vandals and burglars.

How does it work?

The vandal window grill system complements existing windows and doors whether classical or contemporary, traditional or modern. It is a durable metal screen window grill that can be mounted in front of or behind existing windows. It is not a film or a fly-screen.

All fixings are neatly recessed within the frame and finished with a cap for the best aesthetic effect. Furthermore, frames are available in a variety of colours to match your windows and doors.

Vandal Shield window grills do not carry any official security approvals and should not be specified as an alternative to Intruder Shield.

Frame: Extruded aluminium - bespoke sections according to type. alloy 6063 polyester powder coated.

Mesh: Perforated galvanised steel minimum Z200 - 2mm thick - hole pattern 4mm @ 5mm staggered 60 degree pitch - polyester powder coated black.

Fixings: Countersunk head 4.5 or 4.8 case hardened. Bespoke nylon protective one-way cap.
