The window security shield was trialled by the University of Manchester to assess its ability to protect certain vulnerable areas that needed to look inconspicuous but increase its ability to provide increased security. The product certainly fitted facilitated such. What was equally important was the product did not restrict any light into the area.

At Westlea School we have had the protective window security mesh put on all our exterior doors and one window following a break in. Doing this cost less than the price of replacing the window and door window that were damaged in the break in. The mesh surround matches the colour of the doors perfectly and is still see through. The children have even commented on what a good idea it is!

With regards to installation, this was carried out at lunch time which had no interference with the practice’s patients. Communication was good and timely, relevant explanations were given as and when needed.

Previously these addresses have been the subject of a lot of incidences of criminal damage resulting in the occupants leaving them boarded up. As result of the redevelopment of the whole terrace by the council, combined with the protection afforded by your product the appearance of the area is hugely improved.
I have viewed the work and am pleased to note that the protection is inconspicuous while reassuring for the occupants at the same time.

I was recommended Fingershield by the police (crime prevention unit) and they advised me of a product which was better than the standard bars over windows or shutters - Security Shield.
We discussed the best method of fitting the shields and I was then given a quote which I think was very reasonable considering the effectiveness of the product and went ahead. The fitter came on time and and removed the old bars and fitted the shields to the windows in the same day and did an excellent job and it has really improved the windows visually.
Overall the service provided by Fingershield was excellent from start to finish and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone wanting to improve their security.

Thank you for fitting the window security shield mesh to our windows over the Christmas holidays. As you are aware, we were burgled on no fewer than five occasions over a six week period prior to the holidays. Since the window security shields have been fitted, we have had no trouble whatsoever. Not only is the mesh a very effective deterrent to burglars, it also prevents the school windows and doors being vandalised which was an ongoing problem at our school. The window security shield products meets our needs in terms of providing effective security, not to mention peace of mind, by protecting expensive school equipment and resources that are essential to everyday teaching and learning. The product has many advantages over shuttering, not least a cheaper cost and the fact that time is saved for our site team who would otherwise have to open and close shutters each day.
