Unbreakable Hammerglass is available in three versions.
Hammerglass Insulate
Unique insulated glazing system with unbreakable outer pane
Hammerglass Insulate is an unique insulated glazing system available as double or triple glazing with a Hammerglass outer pane.
Normally polycarbonate is not used in insulated glazing systems since the material is not 100% diffusion proof. However, by using an innovative coating technology, Hammerglass overcomes the problem of vapour in the dead space between the layers.
Hammerglass are alone in being able to deliver this unbreakable insulated glazing system with the same guarantees provided by the rest of the industry.
Apart from its ability to withstand burglary and vandalism attempts, Hammerglass Insulate also has excellent sound reduction properties and a low U-value It can even be ordered in a special heat reduction model, Hammerglass IR.
Perhaps the biggest advantage of Hammerglass Insulate though, is that it is easily integrated into any façade system.
Hammerglass Add-On
A unique profile system for add-on glazing with unbreakable glass
Hammerglass Add-On is a patented profile system for external or internal glazing that is unbreakable.
The system is mounted on ordinary windows, fixed as well as opening, glass-sections and doors, where existing glass needs protection against burglars and vandals.
The system is available in 180 RAL colours.
Hammerglass Add-On discourages burglars and vandals and the installation can be done without any damage to the existing architecture. The profile protects and strengths existing wooden frames, which means lower maintenance costs.
The system also gives a noise reduction of 30Db Rw. Furthermore, the system saves energy and improves the U-value.
Hammerglass Single
For replacemnt glazing (re-glazing) purposes with unbreakable glass in existing sashes/frames
Hammerglass Single is a single pane of Hammerglass available in various thicknesses for reglazing in existing sashes or frames in, for example, older coupled sashes and landmark buildings.
he installation can be carried out without any damage to the existing architecture, and saves energy and improves the U-value.
A further benefit is a noise reduction of 30Db Rw.
When used in a single glass window or in coupled sashes, the outer or inner pane is exchanged for Hammerglass Single.
Fastening in existing sashes is done with a special silicone because of the special scratch resistant coating on Hammerglass panes.
Guarantees and certifications
Hammerglass is provided with a unique 5 year insulated glazing guarantee and a five year guarantee on the glazing material.
